Why RFQ quality matters
A good RFQ is more than a product name
For cabinet makers, furniture distributors and GCC project buyers, the same product name can mean different specifications. A drawer slide may be undermount or ball bearing. A concealed hinge may require a specific opening angle, mounting plate or soft-close function. A lift system depends on door size and door weight.
When the RFQ includes drawings or a BOM, the supplier can check dimensions, product categories, packing needs and missing details before pricing. That reduces wrong samples, repeated revisions and delayed export delivery.

OEM and export
Do not leave packing until the end
If the order needs private label packaging, neutral boxes, barcode labels, carton marks or project-specific item codes, include this in the RFQ. OEM packing affects artwork, carton layout, label format, packing quantity and sample approval.
For GCC shipments, export carton strength, mixed-item consolidation, delivery schedule and destination requirements should be reviewed before bulk production.
